Recruiting gay porn site reviewers

Hi folks,

Thanks to Rawtop for inviting me to post this here.

I run GayGeek (www.gaygeek.com), a gay adult website review site. Like several similar sites on the Internet, we're a "Consumer's Reports" of gay porn sites.

GayGeek differs from other review sites in that we use teams of volunteer reviewers to look over websites. We tend not to dive into great levels of detail about a given site, but we rather provide multiple perspectives each with their own approach to describing a website.

Of course this means we need to recruit reviewers with some regularity, so I am posting a few messages around the Internet in search of new people to come join the GayGeek team.

Reviewing for us is an unpaid position, although you'll have access to all the porn you want to look at. We match reviewers up with the types of sites they enjoy (ie; twink lovers get twink sites), although we review both great sites and not-so-good ones.

When reviewers are assigned a website they are given a username/password into the site. Within seven days we ask reviewers to return to GayGeek and fill out a form telling us about your experiences on the site. It's fairly simple and takes at most 15 minutes to write (less if you made notes while looking over the website).

It'll explain more about what we're looking for in reviewers as well as walk you through a simple "writing test" (designed to weed out people who cannot spell, punctuate, capitalize, etc.).

Great! Someone from this forum submitted an application earlier this morning. I assume that was you (or if not, I look forward to receiving it).

Rawtop had mentioned to me someone named MAIKOL20 might be interested in reviewing. He said Maikol bought a lot of porn memberships and writes about what he finds inside. Rawtop thought he would make a great reviewer.

I just submitted an application. I've subscribed to about 5 or so bb sites over the past two years and quite honestly, most times I find that the amateur stuff I view for free on xtube is better than the pro crap I shelled out good bucks for. GayGeek provides a much needed service. Wish I'd known about it sooner.

I just noticed this thread so I went to check out the gay geeks site. Nothing has been updated since Sept 2010! Is it time to retire this from being stickied?
