It isn't a form of discrimination. Because most of the Poz guys that I have talked to have said that when they meet someone and tell them that they are POZ and they love to BAREBACK, and then the guy(s) would be so freaked out that they wouldn't even talk to the POZ guy again, so how is that for DISCRIMINATION

Given the legal liabilities to attach to pozzing someone, I should think the Poz Bareback Group's interest in excluding neg guys would trump the desire of an neg guy to convert. Putting the scenario in a separate forum: imagine that cars could be designed to run extremely fast, but that such a design was inherently dangerous, or, if by designing the cars to go slower they would be safer. The car manufacturer, in evaluating the liability that comes with making inherently dangerous cars decides it does not want to take on that liability, but that they will focus solely on manufacturing slower, albeit safer cars. Seems perfectly rational - and legal.

Being in a minority group already and then having to be in a sub-group of that minority makes it really hard for guys like us to have a great sex life without having to worry if we have infected someone. In many states knowling infecting someone with the HIV virus is basically killing someone and then we could be put in jail for the rest of our lives. There are plenty of groups out there that would infect anyone that wants to become HIV positive, but we aren't that type of group.

We know what it means to be HIV positive and what comes with it and what we have gone through with this virus, so I know that there should be a group out there that all of the "members" are HIV positive and really don't have to worry about telling the other person that we are HIV positive. We have gone through a lot of people "hating" us because we are HIV positive and especially when people in our own minority group shuns us because "by accident"we happen to gotten infected from someone that may or may not have known that they were HIV postitive??

As far as the car manufacturer is up to their own company to decide what to build and what to get rid of based on performance, alot of companies have done this in the past, but we as a group don't have to worry about when to tell the other person that we are HIV, because everyone in the group in HIV positive. We don't have to worry being rejected because we are HIV +.. I hope that this make sense?

It does make sense...perfect sense!
If someone wants to play with Poz guys...believe me there are plenty of them that will play with a neg bottom. Some prefer neg bottoms...they get off on pozzing a neg bottom! So I don't think it's descrimination to limit it to Poz people!!!!
If you really want to attend just say you are Poz for God's sake.

I don't see such discrimination as a matter of stereotyping - more of just decision by the poz guy to protect himself.

If you say you're poz when you're actually neg, how will they know? It's not like they're doing HIV tests at the front door. The point is some guys just don't want to deal with neg guys... I'm fine with that... There are a lot of issues and it's their choice.
